1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the 2025 Served Bracket Challenge (the "Challenge"), which is a competition based on results of a major tennis tournament. Participants will attempt to predict which players will advance furthest in the tournament. Participants will earn points based on how far their selected players advance, with points accumulating as players progress through each round.

The Challenge allows for early sign-up beginning when announced. The tournament bracket participation will commence when the official tournament draws are released. The Challenge ends at the conclusion of the final match (the "Challenge Period").

2. ORGANIZER

The 2025 Served Bracket Challengeā„¢ is organized by Served Media LLC (the "Organizer").

3. ELIGIBILITY

Open to individuals worldwide who are:

  • At least 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry, OR
  • Have express permission from a parent or guardian
  • Have a Served Media account (free registration)

Multiple entries from the same person using different email addresses are prohibited and will result in disqualification.

4. TIMING

The Bracket Challenge begins when the tournament draws are officially released (specific date and time to be announced) and entries close when the first match of the tournament begins. The Challenge ends at the conclusion of the final match. All times are Eastern Time (ET).

In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to match cancellations, delays, or other events beyond Organizer's control, Organizer reserves the right to modify the Challenge timing or structure.

5. HOW TO ENTER

Registration:

  • Create a free account at served.bracket.tennis
  • Complete your user profile (username, password)
  • Agree to these Official Rules

By signing up for the Served Bracket Challenge, you are agreeing to receive the Served Newsletter and all newsletters associated with Served Media. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Entry Process:

  • Select players or complete bracket predictions as specified
  • Submit tiebreaker prediction: Total games in the men's or women's final
  • Save your bracket by clicking the "Submit" button

IMPORTANT: Every time you make changes to your picks, you must click the "Submit" button to save your changes. The most recent saved bracket before the entry deadline will be your official entry.

LIMIT: One (1) entry per person. One (1) bracket per account. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.

6. HOW TO PLAY

Traditional Bracket Scoring:

Men's & Women's Singles (run separate):

  • Round 1 (64 matches): 10 points per correct pick
  • Round 2 (32 matches): 20 points per correct pick
  • Round 3 (16 matches): 30 points per correct pick
  • Round 4 (8 matches): 50 points per correct pick
  • Quarterfinals (4 matches): 80 points per correct pick
  • Semifinals (2 matches): 120 points per correct pick
  • Finals: 200 points for picking the champion

Objective:

Score as many points as possible by correctly predicting match outcomes in the tournament.

7. WINNER DETERMINATION

This is a free bracket challenge for entertainment and bragging rights only. No prizes will be awarded. The participant with the highest score at the end of the tournament will be recognized as the bracket challenge champion.

8. TIEBREAKER RULES

In case of a tie:

  • The participant who correctly predicts the closest total number of games in the final (men's or women's, as specified) wins
  • If further tiebreaking is needed, Organizer will determine a fair method at its discretion - after all, this is just for fun!

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • All decisions of Organizer are final and binding in all respects
  • Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the challenge at any time for any reason
  • Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant for:
    • Violations of these rules
    • Use of multiple email addresses or accounts
    • Any conduct deemed improper or detrimental to the Challenge
    • Tampering with the entry process or Challenge operation
    • Use of automated scripts or programming techniques
  • By entering, participants release Served Media from any liability related to this challenge
  • In the event a scheduled match is canceled or a player withdraws, points will be awarded based on advancement as determined by tournament officials
  • This Challenge may not be used for any form of gambling

10. DATA USAGE & PRIVACY

  • Information collected is subject to Organizer's Privacy Policy
  • By entering, participants agree to receive the Served Newsletter via Substack
  • Participants may unsubscribe from newsletters at any time through the unsubscribe link in any email
  • Personal information will be used to:
    • Administer the bracket challenge
    • Notify participants of challenge updates
    • Send the Served Newsletter and related communications
  • Email addresses will be added to our Substack newsletter platform for newsletter distribution
  • Organizer will not sell personal information to third parties
  • Substack's privacy practices apply to newsletter communications (see substack.com/privacy)

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

ORGANIZER AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries
  • Technical malfunctions of any kind
  • Unauthorized human intervention
  • Electronic or human error in administration of the Challenge
  • Any injury or damage to persons or property

In no event shall Organizer's total liability exceed $100. The Challenge is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

12. DISPUTES

Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. By participating, you agree that any disputes will be resolved through binding mediation with a mediator chosen by Organizer in North Carolina. You agree to resolve any disputes individually, without resort to class action.

13. MODIFICATIONS

Organizer reserves the right to modify these rules at any time. Updates will be posted on the challenge website. Continued participation after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated rules.
